Whether you're seeking an encore career, looking for enlivening volunteer work, or reinventing your sense of identity, knowing your purpose will guide you to increased vitality, creativity, and fulfillment.  One hour break for lunch.

What:  New Transitions and Transformations: Thriving in the Midst of Change  SPRING 2020 COMPLETED

Life is a cycle of beginnings and endings, much like seasonal patterns. If you're entering the 3rd stage (age 50+), the 'fall' season of life brings many changes. These transitions can be hard but they also offer an opportunity to rethink the direction your life is taking. Learn to identify the phases of a transition cycle and discuss practical strategies to empower you in making future changes with greater confidence, less stress and the greatest potential to thrive. There will be an hour lunch break; You are welcome to leave campus for a fast food lunch or bring a sack lunch.

Life is all about choices. The decision to leap into something new and different can be both terrifying and thrilling.  Taking chances often comes with a sense of apprehension and can make us feel like we are in a win or lose, succeed or fail, do or die situation, It's important to remember that taking chances can also offer significant rewards.  So, we must choose to take chances and create opportunities for happiness and fulfillment, that in the end far outweigh the risks.  But as is the case with most things in life, even taking chances requires understanding and practice.

Are you looking for ways to thrive and "give back" in retirement?  Wondering how you'll use your time meaningfully?  Where will you choose to put your energy?  In this workshop we will look at ways to recycle and revive your dreams while rethinking your opportunities through volunteering  Explore the volunteer pathway with an experienced life coach and the support of like minded fellow participants.

How can you create balance amidst all the busy - ness?  Balance means different things to different people, and while total complete balance at all times is virtually  impssible, you can learn ho to make continuous small adjustments to achieve a dynamic state of balance and fulfillment in your life.
