What:  New Transitions and Transformations: Thriving in the Midst of Change  Summer 2018

Life is a cycle of beginnings and endings, much like seasonal patterns. If you're entering the 3rd stage (age 50+), the 'fall' season of life brings many changes. These transitions can be hard but they also offer an opportunity to rethink the direction your life is taking. Learn to identify the phases of a transition cycle and discuss practical strategies to empower you in making future changes with greater confidence, less stress and the greatest potential to thrive. There will be an hour lunch break; You are welcome to leave campus for a fast food lunch or bring a sack lunch.

What:  Courage, Risks and Rewards Workshop  Fall 2018  

Life is all about choices. The decision to leap into something new and different can be both terrifying and thrilling.  Taking chances often comes with a sense of apprehension and can make us feel like we are in a win or lose, succeed or fail, do or die situation, It's important to remember that taking chances can also offer significant rewards.  So, we must choose to take chances and create opportunities for happiness and fulfillment, that in the end far outweigh the risks.  But as is the case with most things in life, even taking chances requires understanding and practice.

Have you ever wondered what your true strengths are?  Chances are it’s difficult to identify them much less know how to articulate them well.  Discover Your Talents is two consecutive Saturdays,  half day workshops that are ideal for people 50 and older who are looking to identify those top 5 strengths that make them feel strong and at their best.  Participants  will be using the highly acclaimed Strengths Finder 2.0 assessment  to help uncover their talents.    Learn what differentiates you from others and how to create your own unique recipe for success as you design new life directions.   Text required - bring to first class.
